There is a big misconception when people starting a Online Business, in that most of these people actually think they are going to make all the money they ever dreamed about without having to do any work to get it! Just because your internet marketing business is online doesn't mean that you don't have to do any work, or very little to make it a huge success. With any business you do whether online or offline you must be willing to work hard to get where you want your business to be. You can't treat your online business as a game because, believe it or not, it is a real business.

You need to be willing to commit a specific amount of time on a daily basis to work on your business. You have to at least accomplish something. The more effort you put into your online business the more money you will make, and the quicker you'll reach your goals. You have to make as much effort on your business as you can every single day. Otherwise, you will never get anywhere with it.

You have to constantly learn about everything that affects your business, and advertising with at least three different sources at one time. You don't want to start out with too many advertising sources at first until you have a way of tracking your advertising efforts.  Of course, the more methods you are using the more success you will have. You have to learn how to work hard but also smart. This means that you need to do things that will help your business grow, and don't let yourself be sidetracked by anything that will not help your business. One major problem with an Online Business is it is very easy to become distracted.

Too many people start their internet marketing business believing that they will be successful and get rich quick over night. There is the potential for that to happen, and it has on the very rare occasion, which brings you to the next mistake that a lot of people make with any business they do.

I know you have heard about people who get online, start their business, and then make a ton of money right away. This can happen if you are very lucky but it is not likely to happen to you at all. Too many people hear about the people that it does happen to and think WOW I can do that. You might be one of the lucky ones that it will happen to but most of you will never have it happen. So you need to be realistic about doing a business online. Ever see the little caption on the bottom of all those infomercials that reads,' Unique Experience' ?

Don't get me wrong, it is possible, very possible that you can get rich online. However, you will have to work hard, be persistent, have patience, and have the attitude that no one and nothing is going to stop you from becoming successful. Most of the people who have already achieved success from their internet business, had to do the same thing to make it where they are today. When you have an internet marketing business you can make a lot of money but it will take you some time to do. For some people it will take months and others, years. You need to realize that no matter how long it takes you, you will have to work for it. There is no other way for you to have a successful business.

Your inbox will be flooded with business opportunities that promises to make you rich over night When you see these, delete them quick. Don't click on them. They are out and out liars. They are usually not being honest with you. Honesty is a big thing on the internet because no one has any other way of knowing you or what your business can do for them.

You have heard the saying, if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. This goes double for any business online. So before you start any business you have to realize that no matter what business you do, especially internet marketing businesses, you will have to work hard in order to be a success with it. Another important fact is that most of those people that say they have made millions in reality haven't made any real money. Don't believe the bank statements they show you. It's so easy to copy a bank statement, block out whatever and add whatever. Simple stuff !

Through my own experience, if you have what I call my formula for success, 3DC, you will achieve your goals and dreams. Here is my formula for success:

1) Desire- Do you truly have the desire to succeed with your own online business? No matter how many times you may fail. Without the desire to go on, you will surly fail

2 ) Determination- Can you be determined to continue no matter what friends and family say. You will be hearing from everyone you know when you tell them you are starting your own online business. They're going to say 'It can't be done', 'You're wasting your time' etc.

3 ) Discipline- You don't know how easy it is to just get up one morning and say to yourself" I just don't feel like doing this today" or, I haven't seen that movie in such a long time, I can always get to work when it's over'. You must be disciplined enough to work on your business at the time you have already decided on and stick with that schedule

4 ) Commitment- Are you committed to making your business a success? Are you committed to get the training you need so your business won't fail. Can you commit at least some financing for your business. If you really believe that crap that it takes no money to start an online business, you are heading for a big disappointment.

Well, that's it. My 3DC formula to success.

Then you need to know how to build your business and make it grow. How to get more streams of income and how to get people to buy from you.
